Abstract
Objective To study the relation between the outer membrane protein D2(OprD2)expression of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and imipenem-resistance in Guangxi area. Methods The SDS-PAGE electrophoresis was adopted to conduct the electrophoresis on the extracted OprD2from 106strains of imipenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the salicylates inhibit experiment was used to determine the position of OprD2,then the imaging was performed by the gel imaging system and compared with sensitive strains for conducting analysis. Results Among 106 strains of imipenem-resistance Pseudomonas aeruginosa,99strains lost OprD2.Conclusion The OprD2loss is one of the main reasons of Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistant to imipenem in Guangxi area.
