On the Evolution and Optimization of Suburban Tourism Spatial Layout Based on Hefei Administrative Divisions Adjustment

Anhui Province regulated Hefei administrative divisions with the revocation of Chaohu City in 2011,so that the new county-level Chaohu City and Lujiang County would be under the jurisdiction of Hefei City.The adjustment of administrative divisions has achieved both a rapid population growth and a scope expansion of Hefei City.Meanwhile,the suburban tourism spatial layout has been greatly changed.In order to meet the growing demand of leisure travelling and establish a high level development of suburban tourism in Hefei,the study aims to investigate the changes of spatial structure taking place against the administrative divisions adjustment,by such quantitative methods as distance from city centre,rotating radius,spatial distribution curve,discrete index of attraction and GIS as well.Besides,this study builds a development layout mode with three levels and two cores according to the spatial structure characteristics.
