Abstract

New high-speed railway station site-setting is a comprehensive problem concerning many factors.A generalized travel cost model was established based on economy, rapidity, convenience, punctuality, comfort and safety of various transport modes.Meanwhile, based on the analysis and comparison of the generalized travel costs of the high-speed railway, bus and air,the distance from the station to the city center according to the length of high-speed railway was determined. Finally, this paper took Beijing-Tianjin inter-city high-speed railway and Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway as examples to test the practicality of the algorithm of this paper, which provided a theoretical basis for planning and designing high-speed railway station.
