Effect of atorvastatin and aspirin on the platelet membrane protein microparticles CD62p and CD40L in patients with hypertension

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the platelet membrane glycoprotein particles CD62p,CD40L and the relationship in high blood pressure,as well as statins,anti-platelet drugs on it.Method:We used the flow cytometry(FCM)and monoclonal antibody labeling to detect 70 cases of hypertension(hypertension group)and 20 healthy control's(control group)blood samples activated by 20 μmol/l L ADP.Then we detected the membrane protein microparticlesCD62p and CD40L in 35 patients with aspirin 100 mg QD or 35 cases of aspirin plus atorvastatin 20mg QN.Result:The contents of CD62p and CD40L in hypertension group([85.3±11.8]%,[69.2±8.6]%)were significantly higher than control group([52.8±7.6]%,[35.2±5.4]%)(P0.01).Treated with aspirin,the patients showed a decline of CD62p and CD40L([64.2±9.3]%,[47.7±7.4]%)(P0.05).Treated with aspirin and atorvastatin,the patients showed a significant decline of CD62p and CD40L([49.7±9.8]%,[36.2±5.1]%)(P0.01).Conclusion:There is a certain relationship between the membrane protein of platelet microparticles and hypertension.The contents of CD62p and CD40L decrease in the hypertention patients after being treated with aspirin and atorvastatin.
