Abstract

Objective: To investigate the influence of age, pregnancy and vaginitis on vagina pH and lactobacilli distribution in vagina. Methods: vagina pH and lactobacilli distribution were explored in 212 normal different age women, 150 different pregnant time women, 50 nonilial vaginitis women, 50 bacterial vaginosis women, 26 trichomonas vaginitis women and 28 senile vaginitis women. Results: With growing age, vagina pH climbed, while the ratio of lactobacilli detection dropped at the age of 21- 60; in pregnant time, vagina pH dropped more sharply than the normal women with the age of 21- 30, while the ratio of lactobacilli detection was same; according to normal women, the ratio of lactobacilli detection descended in nonilial vaginitis, bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas vaginitis and nonilial vaginitis women, the important thing was lactobacilli distribution was +- ++, vagina pH of nonilial vaginitis was highest, and the ratio of lactobacilli detection of bacterial vaginosis was lowest. Conclution: Age, pregnancy and vaginitis influenced lactobacilli distribution in vagina.
