Abstract

Objective:To observe the analgesic effect of Paeonal. Methods: Hot plate test and the acetic acid writhing test are used in mice. Results: Paeonal at the doses of 50.27mg/kg、25.14mg/kg and 12.57mg/kg can inhibit the writhing response induced by acetic acid and can markedly raise pain-threshold induced by heat stimulation in mice. Conclusion: Paeonal has analgesic action .
