Abstract
Objective:To explore the diagnosis and treatment of extra-adrenal pheochromocytoma. Methods: The clinical data of 45 cases of extra-adrenal pheochromocytoma were retrospectively studied. Results: Hypertension was the main clinical manifestation.The qualitative diagnosis mainly relied on urine CA,VMA whereas the niveau diagnosis methods were mainly B-ultrasonography and CT. Operation were performed in all of the patients.One of them died. Conclusions: Surgical operation is the best treatment option for extra-adrenal pheochromocytoma and the patients need to be followed up closely after surgery.
