Abstract
With the accelerated urbanization process accompanied by the in-depth reform of China,a large amount of rural land has been expropriated,which spawned an increasing number of land-losing peasants.Main plight of these peasants is employment problem that directly influence their income and living standards;and this issue has been causing widespread concern.In the perspective of social equity,government should play an active role and assume primary responsibility for providing social support for land-losing peasants' employment.This paper indicates the urgency and necessity of government in solving the employment problem for land-losing peasants,then analyzes the problems and difficulties in their employment process,and finally proposes countermeasures and suggestions against this problem from the aspect of government intervention.
