Abstract

A dye-decoloring strain of aspergillus ficuum was breeded by microwave irradiation for a variety of time, and the optimum time was obtained. The colony shape and spore shape of mutant strain were compared with those of original strain. The decolorization conditions of mutant strain, such as culture time, temperature, shaker speed,pH were studied. The results showed that the mutant strain P30 obtained by irradiating aspergillus ficuum for 30 s with 800 w microwave had optimal decolorization ability.Compared with the original strain, the mutant strain had longer diameter, more irregular distribution, less colonies and deeper color of spore. The optimum culture time, temperature, shaker speed,pH of decolorization were 6.0,33 ℃,120 r/min and 72 h,respectively. The decolorization rate of P30 on Reactive Brilliant Blue KN-R was 11% higher than that of original strain.
