Abstract

Objective The objective was to apply injectable preparation of complex difloxacin to treat the cases of experimental swine streptococcosis.Methods The MIC of complex difloxacin for streptococcosis of group C was determined and experimental treatment in three different dosages was done for artificially evoked swine streptococcosis.Results The MIC of complex difloxacin and difloxacin for swine streptococcosis of group C were 0.4 mg/L and 1.6 mg/L respectively.In the experiment of treatment,the curative effects of complex difloxacin of LD,MD and HD groups were higher than those of control group.Moreover,the weight gain of MD and HD groups was more than that of control group.Conclusions Complex difloxacin has obvious curative effect on swine streptococcosis,which was better than that of difloxacin.The dosage for intramuscular injection was 5~10 mg/kg·w.
