Abstract
This paper tries to investigate the pronoun 換i?其) as subjects in pre-Qin from other angles and methods. Based on the fact which subject-predicate structure was used as subjects , it discusses the requirements of 換i?其) as subjects. Based on the existence of“換i?其)+predicate”and“subject+predicate”, it proves that 換i?其) as subjects is deflnite. By comparing the usage of pronoun 揝hi?是) and 揃i?彼) as subjects with the similar sentence of 換i?其), it further makes clear about the objectivity of 換i?其) as subjects and its grammatical features. It also concludes and sorts out other materials of 換i?其) as subjects.
