Abstract
Objective To study the effect of exercise therapy applied in mechanically ventilated patients with severe pneumonia.Method Divide 93 patients with severe pneumonia into observation group(n=48) and control group(n=45).Patients in control group receive mechanical ventilation and routine medical treatment.Patients in observation group receive exercise therapy based on mechanical ventilation and routine medical treatment.Monitor patients' tidal volume,respiratory rate,oxygenation index and heart rate on 3d,15d and 25d after mechanical ventilation.Compare the prognosis on 28d of patients in two groups.Result The tidal volume,respiratory rate and oxygenation index are better in observation group than in control group on 15d and 25d after mechanical ventilation.The heart rate is slower in observation group than in control group on 25d after mechanical ventilation.Prognosis on 28d for patients in observation is better.Conclusion Exercise therapy can improve the clinical symptoms for mechanically ventilated patients with severe pneumonia.
