Abstract

Objective:To establish a content determination method of costunolide in Mongolian medicine Gagula-4 decoction. Methods:The reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography(RP-HPLC) separation was performed on Hypersil ODS-C18 column(4.6mm×250mm,5μm),the mobile phase wasmethanol-water(65:35,) the flow rate was 0.8ml·min-1,the detection wavelength was 225nm,the columntemperature was 25℃.Results:Costunolide showed a good linear relationship(r=0.995)in the range of 0.20~ 1.00μg,the average recovery rate was 99.73%,RSD=1.545%.Conclusion:The method is simple and accurate, and has a high resolution,so it can be served as the quality control of costunolide in Mongolian medicine Gagula-4 decoction.
