Abstract
The production modes of Lean Production and Six Sigma are analyzed.The advantages and disadvantages of the two modes are pointed out by comparison.The conception of Lean Six Sigma is explored.Necessities and feasibilities of Lean Six Sigma are pointed out.Key successful factors of Lean Six Sigma—focusing on the system,establishing culture,focusing on process,supported by leadership and choosing the right method and tool,are analyzed.Improvement activities in Lean Six Sigma system are divided into 2 categories—— Lean Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma project.For the simple problems,lean production can be used directly.For the complex problems,the procedure of DMAICⅡ and its detail steps,tools in each stage are put forward.
