Abstract
According to the similar gene sequence of birds in GenBank, two pairs of primers were designed. Then Gal-6 fragment was amplified by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction from different part of duck and goose. Results showed that the specific bands of 250 bp were found. Except kidney, skin and bursa of Fabricius, there was positive expression in other 14 samples of duck and liver of goose. The recombinant plasmid was sequenced. The mature peptide sequence was 150 bp. The results showed that the cDNA fragment coded 67 amino acid residues, which comprised of signal peptide with 20 amino acid residues, propriece peptide with 5 amino acid residues, and mature peptide with 42 amino acid residues. BLAST analysis showed that there was a base difference in gene sequence between duck and chicken, and the gene sequences of goose was completely homology to chicken.
