Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of subfascial endoscopic perforator surgery(SEPS)in treatment of chronic venous ulcer in lower extremity. Methods:The clinical data of 78 cases(86 limbs)with chronic venous ulcer in lower extremity treated by deep subfascial endoscopic perforating and high ligation plus stripping of great saphenous vein were retrospectively analyzed. Results:All the patients recovered well after operation, varicose veins disappeared, ulcers healed,no obvious complications occurred, and no skin ulcers or recurrent varicose veins were found after follow-up of 1-3 years. Conclusions:SEPS with high ligation plus stripping of great saphenous vein is effective in treating venous ulcers in lower extremity, with less trauma, more rapid recovery and better effect compared with traditional surgical treatment.
