Abstract
Objective To investigate the CT manifestations and their value in the diagnosis of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Methods 47 patients with the carcinoma confirmed by pathology were reviewed. Results On plain CT scan all lesions were low density and there was lower density region in 35 cases, biliary dilatation in 18 cases, bile duct calculus in 12 cases, retraction of liver capsule in 9 cases, atrophy of liver lobe in 13 cases,in enhanced scanning, most tumor showed obvious circular enhancement in arterial phase, enhancement like grid on interal region in portal phase, and concentric enhancement in delayed phase. Conclusion CT manifestations of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma are specific, which are helpful to the diagnosis of this disease.
