Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of Seretide on the lung function in 55 cases of bronchial asthma and clinical efficacy. Methods We divided 110 cases of bronchial asthma treated in our hospital randomly into control group(n=55) and treatment group(n=55). The control group received theophylline sustained-release tablets besides routine treatment, and the treatment group received Seretide besides routine treatment. The lung function and clinical efficacy were evaluated in the two groups after 2 month treatment. Results There was a significant difference in FEV1、FVC and PEF after 2 month treatment between the two groups(P0.05). The total efficacy of the treatment group was 94.55% and that of the control group was 81.82%,with a significant difference(P0.05) between the two groups. Conclusion Seretide can obviously improve the lung function of the patients with bronchial asthma ,with good clinical efficacy.
