Abstract
With the development of real-time monitoring system,large-capacity high-speed data acquisition and transmi-ssion technology has made new progress.The LZW compression algorithm and its improved algorithm are adopted to solve the existing problem: the velocity of data transmission realized by hardware is faster than that of data processing relying on the software though it can achieve a lot of algorithms.The algorithm was implemented on the programmable logic device FPGA.The correctness of the design was verified by simulation.The data transmission speed was improved.
