Abstract
The six new species of Tetrigoidea are described. All types are deposited in Wuhan Polytechnic University. 1. Thoradonta longispina sp. nov. (Fig. 1)This new species is similar to Thoradonta spicculoba Hancock,1912, but differs in: 1) lateral spine of pronotum very long; 2) hind wing reaching the top of hind process. Length of body: ♂ 6 mm; length of pronotum: ♂ 6.5 mm; length of hind femur: ♂ 5 mm.Holotype ♂, Guangdong: Zhaoqing (Dinghushan), 60 m, 112°5′ E, 23°N, 2002-08-21, collected by Xie L D. 2. Systolederus heishidingensis sp. nov. (Fig. 2)This new species is allied to Systolederus orthonotus Zheng,1998, but differs in : 1) size narrow and long; 2) lower margin of midfemur straight; 3) width of midfemur equal to the width of elytra; 4) hind tibia brown, with two black transverse bands in the middle.Length of body: ♀ 8.5~9 mm; length of pronotum: ♀ 12~12 mm; length of hind femur: ♀ 5.8~6 mm.Holotype ♀, Guangdong: Fengkai (Heishidinig), 180 m, 110°5′E, 23°5′N, 2002-08-18, collected by Xie L D; paratype ♀, Guangdong: Fengkai (Heishidiing), 180 m, 110°5′E, 23°5′N, 2002-08-17, collected by Xie L D. 3. (Fig. 3)This new species is closely related to Mazarredia longshengensis Zheng et Jiang,1998, but differs in: 1) lateral margins of pronotum not contracted behind shoulders; 2) lower margin of midfemur undulate; 3) hind wing reaching over the hind process slightly; 4) lower outer side of hind femur black.Length of body: ♀ 8.5 mm; length of pronotum: ♀ 11.5 mm; length of hind femur : ♀ 5 mm.Holotype ♀, Guangdong: Fengkai (Heishiding), 180 m, 110°5′E, 23°5′N, 2002-08-17, collected by Xie L D. 4. Hedotettix guangdongensis sp. nov. (Fig. 4)This new species is allied to Hedotettix shangsiensis Zheng et Jiang,2003, but differs in : 1) anterior margin of pronotum obtuse angular; 2) lateral keels of prozona parallel; 3) in profile, upper margin of pronotum slightly arc in anterior part and hind part straight; 4) midfemur wide and flat, its length 2.5 times its width; 5) in male, width of midfemur wider than the width of elytra; 6) hind process of pronotum slightly reaching over the top of hind femur. Tetrix latifemurus sp.. nov. (Fig. 5) This new species is similar to Tetrix fuchuanensis Zheng,1998 and Tetrix erhaiensis Zheng et Mao,1997. It differs from both in : 1) anterior margin of pronotum obtuse angular; 2) in profile, upper margin of pronotum arc in anterior part; 3) with a pair of short longitudinal keels between shoulders. It differs from the former by the vertex and frontal ridge forming an obtuse angular in profile. It differs from the latter by the lower margin of hind femur straight.Length of body: ♂ 8~9 mm; length of pronotum: ♂ 11~12 mm; length of hind femur: ♂ 5~6 mm.Holotype ♂, paratype ♂, Guangdong: Fengkai (Heishiding), 180 m, 110°5′E, 23°5′N, 2002-08-17, collected by Xie L D. 6.
