Key to the species of Criotettix,Coptotettix and Formosatettix(Orthoptera: Tetrigoidea) from China with descriptions of seven new species

A taxonomy of the genera Criotettix、Coptotettix and Formosatettix from China are revised,amony them,seven new species are described,i.e.Criotettix guangdongensis sp.nov.、 Coptotettiox guangzhouensis sp.nov.、 Coptotettix jianfengensis sp.nov.、 Coptotettix orthomarginis sp.nov.、 Formosatettix hainanensis sp.nov.、Formosatettix undulatifemura sp.nov.and Formosatettix nigritibia sp.nov.Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology,Shaanxi Normal University. 1 Criotettix guangdongensis sp.nov.(Figs.1-3) This new species is allied to Criotettix damingshanensis Zheng et Jiang,1998,but differs in:(1)width of frontal ridge which between antennae equal to the width of basal segment of antenna;(2)midkeel of pronotum interrupted;(3) with a pair short longitudinal keels between shoulders;(4)caudal spines of lateral lobes of pronotum directed transversely;(5) lower margin of midfemur wave like;(6) width of midfemur wider than the width of tegmina;(7) hind margin of subgenital plate of female arc;(8) lower outer side of hind femur black. Length of body: ♀10 mm;length of pronotum: ♀10 mm;length of hind femur: ♀5 mm. Holotype ♀,Guangdong: Maoming,110° 9′E,21° 6′N,01-Sept.-1983,collected by ZHENG Zhemin. 2 Coptotettix jianfengensis sp.nov.(Figs.4-6) This new species is allied to Coptotettix gongshanensis Zheng,1992 and Coptotettix prominemarginis Deng,Zheng and Wei,2007.It differs from them in:(1) upper margin of pronotum straight in profile;(2) hind wing very small,only reaching one third of hind femur;(3) lower side of hind femur black;(4) hind tibia black,with two yellow rings in the middle;(5) top of tegmina narrow rounded.It differs from Coptotettix prominemarginis in:(1) antennae inserted between the lower margins of eyes;(2) anterior margin of pronotum straight;(3) hind process of pronotum reaching knee of hind femur;(4) lower margin of midfemur wave-like;(5) hind margin of subgenital plate of female with 3 teeth. Length of body: ♀ 10 mm;length of pronotum: ♀ 8 mm;length of hind femur: ♀ 6 mm. Holotype ♀,Hainan: Ledong(Jianfengling),108°7′E,18°5′N.10-Nov-2009,Collected by SHI Fuming and QIU Ming. 3 Coptotettix guangzhouensis sp.nov.(Figs.7-9) This new species is allied to Coptotettix zoujiangensis Zheng et Jiang,2006,but differs in:(1) width of frontal ridge which between antennae equal to the width of basal segment of antenna;(2) hind process of pronotum reaching top of hind femur;(3) hind wing reaching top of hind process;(4) width of midfemur narrower than the width of tegmina distinctly;(5) disc of pronotum with few black spots;(6) inner side of hind femur yellow brown. Length of body: ♀9 mm;length of pronotum: ♀9 mm;length of hind femur: ♀6 mm. Holotype ♀,Guangzhou,103°1′E,23°1′N,12-July-2994,collected by ZHENG Zhemin and TU Qin. 4 Coptotettix orthomarginis sp.nov.(Figs.10-12) This new species is allied to Coptotettix longtanensis Zheng et Jiang,2004 and Coptotettix spicpennis Zeng et Zheng,2010.It differs from the two species by the hind margin of subgenital plate of female straight.It differs from Coptotettix longtanensis in:(1)antennae inserted lower one third of anterior margin of eye;(2) humeral angle obtuse round;(3) lower margin of midfemur straight.It differs from Coptotettix spicpennis in:(1) anterior margin of vertex not protruding before eyes;(2) lateral ocellus placed the middle of eyes;(3) with a pair of short longitudinal keels between shoulders;(4) top of tegmina wide round. Length of body: ♀ 9.5-10.0 mm;length of pronotum: ♀ 8.0-8.5 mm;length of hind femur: ♀ 6.0-6.5 mm. Holotype ♀,Hainan: Baisha(Yinggeling),109°5′E,19°5′N.8-Nov-2009,Collected by SHI Fuming and QIU Ming. 5 Formosatettix hainanensis sp.nov.(Figs.13-15) This new species is allied to Formosatettix wuliangshanensis Zheng et Ou,2004 and Formosatettix albomaculata Zheng et Ou,2010.It differs from both in:(1) width of frontal ridge which between antennae narrower than the width of basal segment of antenna;(2) with a pair short longitudinal keels between shoulders;(3) top of hind process sharp.It differs from the former by the lower margin of hind process arc curved and differs from the latter by the lateral keels of prozona contracted backward. Length of body: ♀ 8 mm;length of pronotum: ♀ 6 mm;length of hind femur: ♀5 mm. Holotype ♀,Hainan:Lingshui,110°1′E,18°5′N,15-Sept.-1983,collected by ZHENG Zhemin. 6 Formosatettix undulatifemura sp.nov.(Figs.16-17) This new species is allied to Formosatettix Zheng et Ou,2011,but differs in:(1) vertex protruding before eyes;(2) width of vertex 2.5 times the width of an eye;(3) top of hind process narrow round;(4) midkeel of lower side of hind femur wave like. Length of body: ♂9 mm;length of pronotum:♂ 7 mm;length of hind femur:♂5 mm. Holotype ♂ Hainan:Lingshui,110°1′E,18°5′N,15-Sept.-1983,collected by ZHENG Zhemin. 7 Formosatettix nigritibia sp.nov.(Figs.18-20) This new species is allied to Formosatettix guangdongensis Liang,1991,but differs in:(1) antennae inserted just below the lower margin of eyes;(2) width of frontal ridge wider than the width of basal segment of antenna;(3) length of middle segment of antenna 3 times its width;(4) hind part of midkeel of hind femur wavy;(5) length of upper valvue of female 2.5 times its width;(6) hind tibia black. Length of body: ♀8 mm;length of pronotum: ♀7 mm;length of hind femur: ♀5 mm. Holotype ♀,Sichuan: Jiulong,3650 m,101°2′E,29°1′N,21-Sept.-2009,collected by Ge Hongjie.
