The Relationship Between Hot Pepper Cytoplasm Male Sterility and Endogenous Hormones Content in Leaves and Flower Buds

Abstract

The contents of IAA、CTKs、GA1 + 3 and ABA in the leaves and flower buds of hot pepper cytoplasm male sterile line、its maintainer and restoring line were as sayed by using ELSIA. The results show that there are obviously dfferences in the content of endogenous hormones in the leaves and flower buds a-mong the three lines, in which content of IAA was enhanced in the leaves and flower buds, and which of CTKs in the leaves was highest but of flower buds was lowest, the content of GA1 + 3 in the flower buds was obviously increased, in the cytoplasm male sterile line amongst three lines. The difference was relatively less in the content of ABA among the three lines. Further analysis indicates that the rate balance of content of kinds endogenous hormones in the hot pepper flower buds has more closely related with cytoplasm male sterility
