Comparative Study of Three Therapeutic Methods for Pyogenic Granuloma

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the the clinical effect of high-frequency electric knife,carbon dioxide laser and liquid nitrogen cryotherapy on pyogenic granuloma.Methods:The clinical data of 107 patients with pyogenic granuloma treated with high frequency electric knife(group A),carbon dioxide laser(group B) or frozen in liquid nitrogen(group C)from January 2006 to January 2011 were analyzed retrospectively.Results:One time cure rate of group A is higher than that of B group and C group,There was a significant difference in group A and group B,A group and C group(P0.05).Total cure rate of group A is higher than that of group B,There was significant difference in them(P0.05).Conclusions:The clinical effect of high-frequency electric knife is better than carbon dioxide laser and liquid nitrogen cryotherapy on pyogenic granuloma.
