Abstract
MasterCAM is a CAD/CAM software widely used in the field of CNC.This paper described in details the machining processes and procedures in CNC machining and programming using the software in respect to specific examples.According to the procedure,the analysis of the figure of the parts was followed by the creation of solid model,where the functions of computer-aided design were used,and the setting of CNC machining parameters according to the processing requirements.Tool path was generated and checked hereafter,and practical efficient CNC program was generated by post-processing.Such a procedure can achieve efficient CNC machining with a high quality.
