Some Suggestions on How to Develop Democracy inside the Party

The democracy inside the Party is the life of the Party. Developing the democracy inside the Party is the real need to secure the Party’s ruling position and improve the ruling ability of the Party, and is the heart of People’s Democracy as well. To promote inside-Party democracy, this paper makes several suggestions: to correctly understand the scientific meanings of democratic centralism; to take ensuring the Party members’ democratic rights as focus to realize inside-party democracy with systems, standards and processes; to reform and perfect inside-party election system; to strengthen the restricting and monitoring of rights; to stand by regular education to strengthen democratic awareness; and to deal earnestly with and learn from the successful experience of developing democracy inside ruling parties of other countries.
