Abstract

A high purity of ethoxyacetyl chloride was synthesized from ethoxyacetyl acid and thionyl chloride.Optimal reaction conditions were obtained based on orthogonal experiments that the molar ratio of thionyl chloride to ethoxyacetyl acid was 5 to 1,the catalyst was DMF and the reaction time was 16 h.
