Model of College English Reading—Teaching Based on the Schema Theory

As an influential reading theory,The Schema Theory provides a new enlightenment for the teaching of college English reading.From the perspective of cognition psychology,this article mainly introduces the Schema Theory and the schema types applied in reading process,uncovers the Schema Theory's connection to,as well as its application in reading,and also suggests an effectivepre-reading,while-reading and post-readingthree steps model of college English reading-teaching tentatively.
