A Research on the Defending Situation of Chinese Men Basketball Team in the 29th Olympic Games

Abstract

The main reason that Chinese men basketball team failed to fulfill the breakthrough in the 29th Olympic Games is their comparative weakness in defending.With the method of observing and analysis,this paper aims to provide theoretic evidences for the improvement and development of the comprehensive defending strength of Chinese men basketball team.The paper indicates,Chinese men basketball team defending system is not precise,the inside defending and the control of fast defense are comparatively weak,the defending tactics is not precise either,and especially there is a disparity between Chinese men basketball team and world powerful teams in exertion of the basic defending cooperation.
