Tradition and Modernity:The Historical Mechanism of the Making of Western Constitutionalism Movement

The modem constitutionalism movement is the achievement of modern capitalist revolution, the result of the development of western political and legal culture since ancient Greece, the outcome of the integration of western ancient constitutional cultural ingredient in modern times, and the modern modality of western constitutionalism culture. Therefore, it is significant to study the historical and cultural mechanism of the making and development of modern western constitutionalism movement so as to understand the inner character and making mechanism of modem constitutionalism, and thereby to provide helpful enlightenment for the construction of constitutionalism in China.
