The historical crux of modern constitutionalism movement in China

When a new model is set up, some reference should be drawn from history. A review of modern movement in China is of significance to contemporary construction. The paper argues that historical crux of modern movement was the emptiness of constitutionalism and lack of economy and culture considerations. Thus, institution of as a tool of political reform was rigidly transplanted into China's politics. In addition, making and conducting of constitution were not related with common people's interests. Thus, historical conditions interfered logical procedures that China's should have naturally followed.
