Abstract

We screen out bacteria Y7 from oil-contaminated soil in the northern Shaanxi as research object, and domesticate with the medium of petroleum hydrocarbons. The degradation effect is evaluated by the degradation rate of petroleum hydrocarbons,OD(absorbance) value and the pH value. The study showed that bacteria Y7 could effectively degrade petroleum hydrocarbons, and the medium added the appropriate amount of Fe2+ had a certain role in promoting the growth of bacteria Y7 and the degradation of petroleum hydrocarbons, and the best Fe2+ concentration was 24 mg/L.In the circumstance of the best Fe2+ concentration, the degradation effect of petroleum hydrocarbon was the best early three days, and the degradation rate was up to 40%.
