Abstract
[Objective] To study the best extraction conditions of proanthocyanidin from grape seeds by petroleum ether.[Method] The absorbance of proanthocyanidin was determined with the method of vanillina,a standard curve was drawn, and the factors influencing the extraction of proanthocyanidin were optimized with orthogonal experiment.[Result] The best extraction conditions were 60% petroleum ether as extractant,1∶ 5(g/ml) solid-liquid ratio,Soxhlet extractor to reflux at 60 ℃ for 1.5 h,the extraction rate of proanthocyanidin under the best conditions was 60.03 mg/g.[Conclusion] Petroleum ether is good in extracting proanthocyanidin from grape seeds.
