Discussion on Goal Connotation and Construction Path of City with Beautiful Eco-environment

Since 20th century,it has become a new fashion of urban development in the world to build up urban ecological systems that have suitable ecological structures and effective ecological functions in order to promote the construction of ecological cities.Taking Suzhou as the study object,this paper is aimed to prove that as a gradually and sequentially development process of urban systems and performances,urban construction usually involves five stages:Ecological Health,Ecological Safety,Ecological Industry,Ecological Landscape and Ecological Culture.At present,there are a lot of problems in the ecological construction of magnificent Suzhou.To solve those problems,a large amount of work should be accomplished.Complying with the ecological principles,reconstruction of the relationship between human and nature needs to be finished;it ought to be advocated to make good use of rural forestry resources and select more strong and better shaped tree species;following the growth pattern of plants,long life plants is supposed to be chosen as the main species and a proper disposition of plants must be made to realize the diversity of forest landscape,living creature and ecological system;at last,the maintenance cost of ecological construction should be reduced to the largest extent.
