Abstract
Objective To study the effect of the UF-50 automated urine microscopy analyzor in measurement of urinary RBC.Methods A total 500 urine samples of inpatients were analyzed by using the UF-50 urinary sediment analysor and microscopic examination respectively.Results The positive rate of RBC in urinary sediments test with UF-50 analysor was 34%,higher than that by microscopic as the standard(31%).Their positive coincidence was 63%.Their negative coincidence 91%.Conclusion The detection of RBC with UF-50 analysor is influenced by certain matter in urinary,which may lead to false results.The automated urinalysis analyzer can not replace the microscopic examination,but it has very important clinical value as a screening and monitoring measure.
