Compared UF-500i automated urinalysis analyzer with microscopy results of urine sediment in the cast

Objective To compare the sensitivity and its influencing factors of UF-500i automated urinalysis analyzer and urine sediment microscopic examination in urine casts.Methods 1226 cases of patients with UF-500i automated urinalysis analyzer were analyzed urine sediment and microscopic examination of urine sediment in the cast.Results UF-500i automated urinalysis analyzer,urine cast positive rate was 12.9%,36.8% sensitivity and specificity of 95.2%,false positive rate of 3.6% false negative rate of 16.0% compliance rate of 80.4%,positive predictive value of 72.2% negative predictive value 81.6% ;urine sediment microscopic examination of urine in the cast-positive rate was 25.3%.Conclusion UF-500i automated urinalysis analyzer,urine tube there are more false negative and false positive,the combination of microscopic examination of urine sediment can increase the accuracy of detection tube.
