Abstract
A method was established for the determination of Fe,Ni,Cu,V,Al,Pb and Sb elements in fluid catalytic cracking(FCC) catalyst by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(ICP-MS).The sample was dissolved by microwave digestion in HNO_3+HCl and the solution was analyzed by ICP-MS.Sc,Y,In and Bi were selected as internal standard elements. The analytical signal drift was corrected by the signal of another element added to both the standard solution and sample. The influence of mass spectrometry interference was corrected by selecting different isotope. The optimum conditions for the determination were tested and discussed. The detection limits of the method are 0.019-0.072 μg/L.The recovery is from 95.6% to 105.4%,and RSD is less than 3.3%.This method is accurate, rapid and convenient. It has been used for the determination of trace metal elements in FCC catalyst.
