Abstract
Acute toxicity experiments of meothrin to Carassius auratus,Misgurnus anguillicaudatus,Daphinia magna and Viviparus chengtehensis were carried out by using renewal method under the conditions of 20±1℃ and pH 7 8 8 1,and sub acute exposure to C.auratus was also conducted to determine the damage of meothrin to fish's organ.The results showed that the LC 50 values of meothrin in 48h for C.auratus,M. anguillicaudatus and V.chengtehensis were 0 011mg/l,0 112mg/l,2 310mg/l,respectively,the 24h EC 50 for D.magna was 0 20mg/l.In sub acute exposure tests,Meothrin liquor of exceeding 0 0014mg/l damaged obviously to the liver of C.auratus. Results from 60d sub acute test of C.auratus indicated that the MATC was estimated 0 001mg/l and the application factor was 0 1.
