Clinical Observation on Acne Cream and Micron Acne Cream in the Treatment of Acne

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To observe the efficacy and safety of Acne cream and Micron acne cream in the treatment of acne. METHODS: A total of 97 patients with acne were enrolled: 32 were randomly assigned to Acne cream group, another 32 to Micron acne cream group, and 33 to control group (external application of 0.025% Tretinoin cream). The efficacy and safety were evaluated after 6-week treatment. RESULTS: No significant difference was noted in clinical efficacy among all the three groups. The incidences of adverse drug reactions in Acne cream, Micron acne cream, and control groups were 6.25%, 0%, and 27.27% respectively. CONCLUSION: Acne cream and Micron acne cream are effective and safe in the treatment of Acne.
