Abstract
Objective To explore the the clinical efficacy of ureteroscopic pneumatic ballistic lithotripsy(URL) for the treatment of ureteral stones. Methods 240 cases of ureteral calculi patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group each 120 cases. The treatment group were given the URL treatment, the control group were treated with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy.the clinical efficacy of the two groups were observed and complications. Results Stone clearance rate in the upper, middle, lower segment for the first time In the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group. The differences was statistically significant(P 0.01).And the renal colic, nausea, vomiting, fever and other complications in control group in was significantly higher than the treatment group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.01).Conclusion The treatment of URL for ureteral stones is effective, less invasive, fewer complications, worthy of widespread clinical application.
