Abstract

Objective To compare different strength of non-invasive limb ischemia preconditioning and classical ischemic preconditioning on the protective effects on rat heart. Methods Healthy adult male wistar rats 40,were randomly divided into four groups: classic preconditioning group (A), the single-leg remote preconditioning group (B), the two-leg remote preconditioning group (C), the limbs remote preconditioning group (D), Serum creatine kinase (CK), CK-MB; finally the heart ischemia (AAR), the scope of infarction (IA) were determinated. Results (1)CK and CK-MB: The levels of CK and CK-MB of B、C and D groups were lower than that of A group. The difference was significant (P 0.05), especially B group declined obviously. (2) Myocardial infarction area (IA/LV):Myocardial infarction area of B、C and D groups were smaller than A group (P 0.05), especially B and C group declined obviously, but the difference of B and C group was insignificant. Conclusion The protective effect on rat myocardium of non-invasive limb ischemia precond- itioning is better than the classic ischemia preconditioning, and the protection is the strongest in the single-leg remote preconditioning group before myocardial infarction.
