Abstract

Objective:To analyse the clinical characteristics of the patients using the mechanical ventilation with severe pandemic H1N1 influenza and with other acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS).Methods: The patients using mechanical ventilation were divided into severe H1N1 group and ARDS group, and the data collected were the variables of age, sex, biochemical indicator, blood gas analysis, length of ventilation,ALI,MODS,APACHEⅢscore, etc. Results:Between the severe H1N1 group and ARDS group, there was a significant difference of the PaO2/FiO2on the third day of mechanical ventilation(P0.05).The difference of the score of APACHEⅢ was significant,too(P0.05).Conclusion:The score of APACHEⅢ was significantly different between the severe H1N1 group and ARDS group.
