Abstract
Objective:To study the clinical effect of mechanical ventilation treatment on acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS).Methods:From December 2008 to December 2011,50 cases with ARDS were randomly divided into control group and observation group. Each group included 25 case, using basic therapy. The control group were treated with traditional mechanical ventilation, while the observation group were used lung protective ventilation.Therapeutic efficacy, incidence rate of ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP),the using time of mechanical ventilation and fatality were compared between two groups. Results:Both groups were found the PaO2 and PaCO2 after treatment significantly improved than that before treatment(P0.05),the different of PaO2 and PaCO2 after treatment between two groups didn't show the significant(P0.05).The data for the using time of mechanical ventilation, rat of VAP,fatality of the control group were(5.6±1.6)d,20%(5/25),8%(2/25),which were better than the experience group(8.2±1.3)d,32%(8/25),20%(5/25)(P0.05).Conclusion:The use of mechanical ventilation for ARDS can relieve anoxia quickly, besides, lung protective ventilation is better than traditional mechanical ventilation on the rate of complication and death rat.
