Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the characteristics of meteorological variables in Nanjing during 1973-2008.METHODS The data on air temperature,air pressure,visibility and wind speed were collected and analyzed by the SPSS statistical software package.RESULTS Temperature had been increasing during 1973-2008.The lowest average annual air temperature was in 1980(14.73℃),and the highest was in 2007(17.03℃).The rising range of the average annual air temperature was 1.39℃.The visibility in different years had been decreasing linearly(from 14.13km to 5.94km).The result was significant(P﹤0.001).Average air temperature and highest temperature,lowest temperature,dew point temperature,sea level pressure were highly relevant(r≥0.75).Coefficient of determination was 0.958,0.947,0.924 and 0.790 respectively.CONCLUSION Climate in Nanjing during 1973-2008 is gradually warming,and the rising trend has been accelerated during the last 20 years.
