Abstract
Isolator is placed between the inlet and the combustor is a key component of the scramjet engine. An isolator includes two important functions: one is to provide a wide work scope to inlet;another is to make scramjet engine work within the dual-mode.The interaction between a normal shock wave and a boundary layer along a wall surface in isolator causes a very complicated flow.A series of shocks as resulted,is called shock train. This paper showed that the interaction significantly influenced the entire flow field, especially when the shock was strong enough to separate the boundary layer.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
