Reflections on the Current Research Situation of China′s Circular Economy

China′s circular economy,based on Germany and Japan′s experience and practice in developing circular economy(or economy of closed-substance-cycles) and constructing circular society,meeting the needs of the current situation and future development of China,is the further exploration and expansion of this concept in terms of connotation and application.Nonetheless the reason why the circular economy receives such great consideration and forceful propelling is more of realistic needs rather than the success of theory construction.It is both a favorable opportunity and an imminent challenge to the economic circles in China to advance the study of China′s economic problem at a high level under the umbrella of circular economy in light of the sustainable development of China′s current and future social economy.This paper expounds the authors' understanding and basic viewpoints on the circular economy being carried out in China at present from the following three aspects: the background of the introduction of the concept of circular economy into China,its targets and objectives,and the present and future academic research trends.
