Abstract
Based on the dataset of 52 plots investigated from the field,the interspecific relationship among 31 dominant populations of the communities of abandoned land in Guandi Mountains,Shanxi was studied by using χ2 test for 2×2 contingency tables,Pearson's correlation coefficient test and Spearman's rank correlation coefficient test,respectively.The results showed that:1) 227 species-pairs were positive association,231 species-pairs were negative association,and the ratio of positive and negative association were 0.982 7,and the number of species-pairs being significant(P0.05) accounted for 7.26 % in the total species-pairs by χ2 test.14 species-pairs were higher significant(P0.01),while 15 species-pairs were significant(P0.05),which was testes by Pearson's correlation coefficient.201 species-pairs were positive correlation,including 10 species-pairs were higher significant positive correlation and 24 species-pairs were significant positive correlation,and 263 species-pairs were negative correlation,including 8 species-pairs were higher significant negative correlation and 28 species-pairs were significant negative correlation,which were tested by Spearman's rank correlation coefficient.The ratio of positive and negative association were 0.764 3,and the species-pairs being significant(P0.05) accounted for 15.05% in the total species-pairs,the interspecific relationships was not significant(P0.05) in the most dominants of this community by Spearman's rank correlation coefficient test.2) According to the adaptability of those species to the environment and the relationships between plants and environment,31 species were divided into 2 ecological species groups:Phragmites group and Poa group.3) This community during converting land into forestry period was composed of the pioneer species mostly,and it sugessted that this community was at primary stage of forest recovery succession in the Guandi Mountains.
