Abstract
Objective:To study the expressions of CD44v6 and E-Cadherin in breast cancer, explore their relationship with clinical pathological characteristics of breast cancer, analyze the correlation between CD44v6 expression and E-Cadherin expression. Methods:The expression levels of CD44v6 and E-Cadherin in 75 cases of breast cancer tissues,40 cases of adjacent breast tissues and 20 cases of normal breast tissues were detected by immunohistochemical staining(SP method);their relationship with clinical pathological characteristics of breast cancer and the correlation between CD44v6 expression and E-Cadherin expression were analyzed. Results:The expression rates of E-Cadherin in breast cancer tissues and cases with diameter of tumor2 cm were significantly lower than those in normal breast tissues and cases with diameter of tumor2 cm(P0.01);the expression rate of E-Cadherin in breast cancer of stage Ⅲ was significantly lower than that in breast cancer of stage II(P0.05),and the expression rate of E-Cadherin in breast cancer of stage II was significantly lower than that in breast cancer of stage I(P0.05);the expression rate of E-Cadherin in the cases with lymphatic metastasis was significantly lower than that in the cases without lymphatic metastasis(P0.05);the expression rates of CD44v6 in breast cancer tissues and cases with diameter of tumor3 cm were significantly higher than those in normal breast tissues and cases with diameter of tumor3 cm(P0.01);the expression rate of CD44v6 in breast cancer of stage Ⅲ was significantly higher than that in breast cancer of stage II(P0.05),and the expression rate of CD44v6 in breast cancer of stage II was significantly higher than that in breast cancer of stage I(P0.05);the expression rate of CD44v6 in the cases with lymphatic metastasis was significantly higher than that in the cases without lymphatic metastasis(P0.05);there was a negative correlation between CD44v6 expression and E-Cadherin expression. Conclusion:The expression levels of CD44v6 and E-Cadherin are related to clinical stages of breast cancer, lymphatic metastasis, degree of tumor differentiation, there is a correlation between CD44v6 and E-Cadherin,joint detection of CD44v6 and E-Cadherin may play a certain clinical significance in assistant diagnosis of breast cancer.
