Abstract
Objective: To compare the sedative effects of midazolam combined a small dose of fentanyl and composition of pethidine and haloperidol in epidural anesthesia of gynecological surgery.Methods: Sixty patients in epidural anesthesia of gynecological surgery were randomly divided into two groups(n=30).Group A : midazolam 0.04 mg/kg and fentanyl 1.0 μg/kg;group B: pethidine 1.0 mg/kg and haloperidol 0.05 mg/kg.The changes of vital signs,sedative degree and oblivion degrees were evaluated 24 hrs postoperatively in two groups.Results: There were no significant differences in HR,RR,SPO2 and MAP compared with those preoperatively between two groups(P0.05).But OAA/S Scale was significant higher in group B than that in group A after infusion medicine 5,10,30 and 60 min(P0.05).The oblivion degree was significant higher in group A than that in group B(P0.05).Conclusion: Assisted epidural anesthesia with midazolam and a small dose of fentanyl can provide perfect sedative and oblivious effects.
