Abstract

The Yuefu poetry in the Ming Dynasty is of great value in different ways. Historically, it recorded historical events as they were then and was distinctly characteristic of its day. Literarily, it witnessed the transfer of poetic style and the evolution of literary conception. And ideologically, it described the change of mood of scholars. So abundant value of the Yuefu poetry in the Ming Dynasty calls for corresponding concern from the world of academic study.
