Abstract

There are many methods and theories of calculating shallow foundation bearing capacity, and precisely calculating the foundation bearing capacity is limited by various elements in the engineering practice.The calculation and application of bearing capacity of shallow foundation on the condition of soft soil are preliminarily discussed in the light of an engineering case, and it will provide some valuable experience to the foundation construction on soft soil condition.
